iGluSnFR3 is now published in Nature Methods!!

We made a new glutamate indicator with improved sensitivity, kinetics & localization for imaging synaptic transmission.

This video is DIV12 rat cortical culture with 2uM TTX, imaged with a simple widefield microscope (NA1.4) at 100Hz, displayed here at 20Hz. Flashes correspond to spontaneous release of the neurotransmitter glutamate, monitored using iGluSnFR3.
